Vappu 2013 on Margit Island

Traditional Finnish Vappu was celebrated at Margit Island. It was a great day again (12.00-17.00). Over hundred people visited there, we counted that there were at the busiest time even 80 people at the same time including adults and children.

Due to the renovation of the Fountain, the place was this time behind of the Casino/Holdudvar on the field. People found their way there as well. And the new place choice seemed to be as good as the previous years.

Sparkling wine and snacks were served by the Trade Guild. Finn Kenyer brought “Tippaleipa” to the event.

Vappu Sima and Munkki were available to support the Suomi-Koulu.

Laulujoutsen -choir sang nice songs to entertain the Vappu celebrators.

Trade Guild thanks everyone for joining again to the Vappu event and making nice day to all of us! Thank you to Raimo Frondelius by helping us again like in the previous years.

See you all next year again!
